On any internet browser go to: www.skylandumc.net

This will bring you to the home page of our website. Click on the links to the left to look around.   Since you have not yet logged in, you can visit all pages of the website except the Directory, Discussion Boards and the Resources links. You can visit them, but you cannot access the information unless you log in.

 

To create an account (if you have never logged in before):

Go to the home page (www.skylandumc.net) and on the right side of the screen click on “Sign Up”.

Fill out the login information screen (as much info as you would like to include) and click “Save”. You will receive an email with verification information to follow within a few minutes. Please follow the directions and your registration will be complete. I have to give you ‘member’ status before you can access the hidden areas (i.e. the Directory) and while it usually takes less than a few hours please allow me 24 just in case. This is a security feature to verify you are a member of the church before giving access to our members’ addresses and phone numbers.

 

Go to the home page (www.skylandumc.net) and on the right side of the screen click on “log in”. Then type your email address and your password. Now you will be able to access the Directory, Discussion Boards and the Resources links.

 

Discussion Boards (including Church Members’ Businesses, Classifieds and Website information):

Once you have logged in, click on “Discussion Boards” on the link on the left side of the screen and you can choose which area you would like to visit.  Let me know if you would like to include anything in the Business or Classified areas by emailing to woodsk@brxray.com.

 

Directory (this is a list of anyone who has entered themselves into the computer): Once you are logged in, click on “Directory” on the link on the left side of the screen. Then click on the 'search' button to see a listing of ALL members of the directory or type in a last name and click search to find a specific person.

 

Resources (here is a list of available church forms and information): Once you are logged in, click on the “About Us” link on the Navigation list. Then choose from the following options:

Administrative Board Structure 2009
Building Use Form

Business to Business
Check Request Form

Classifieds

Directions to the church
Fund Raising Policy (and Request)
Newsletter Archives (all the way back to Jan 2008)

Van Information and Use Request Form
