Around the Son Preschool | God's Kids | Hand Chime Choir | Nursery
Our goal is to provide the children with a midweek program to keep church all week long. The sing together for the first 20 minutes and then divide into groups for the lesson. The program is Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm for children 3 years old through 5th grade (after dinner at 5:45 pm ~ $3 adults and $2 children). Can-Do-Kids - 3 years old - 2nd grade:
*Music with Monte in Sanctuary and *Bible lesson and craft.
Faith Finders - 3rd grade - 5th grade:
*Music with Monte and as a role model for younger children.
*We will be learning about our bibles and how to use them.
We will be doing a musical at Christmas this year. The older kids play bible games to learn more and reinforce what they learn. We had a party in May to celebrate the end of the school year. Mission projects are also part of what we focus on (i.e. cards, bags for RITI, etc.) Call Jenny Fitzpatrick for more information. Volunteers are always appreciated.
After CHOW Offerings—6th and Up New programs starting up for youth on Wednesday nights after CHOW! Attention all 6th graders and up (and respective parents)… Starting NOW, if you come to CHOW on Wednesday nights there will be something just for YOU to do after supper! David will have game time and a program each Wednesday in the youth room. Handchimes for kids 3rd grade through 7th The 'Notes From Heaven' Children's Hand Chime and Hand Bell Choirs are for 3rd graders and up who would like to experience the joy of sharing music. You do not need to be able to read music to play. Come and give it a try anytime. We practice in the Chapel on Wednesdays from 4:45 - 5:45 pm. Click here for more information. A safe and loving environment is provided for infants through age 4 Sunday School, worship services, and events. Volunteers are always needed to help. Call Danielle Hansen to volunteer or with questions. Children's Sunday School Classes Sunday School is provided to teach 3-5 year old children about Jesus and Bible stories, through music, crafts, and story time. Call Danelle Hansen with any questions you may have. To provide the children a time to worship where they don't have to sit quietly. We have a lesson and a craft to reinforce the main idea of the day. Mission projects are also done during this time. Some of the things we have done are cards, decorations for church functions, etc. There is always a need for volunteers and the time is co/lead at the Sunday morning 11:00 am service. The fee based Summer Program that children ages 3 years old through 3rd grade come to learn bible stories, songs, have fun, make friends and learn of God's love for us all. |
